At A-Animal Clinic we take anesthesia seriously. Our goal is to ensure a safe and pain-free delivery of anesthetic and surgical services when necessary for your pet.

Every animal undergoing anesthesia will receive an IV catheter, keeping access to the cardiovascular system available at all times.  IV fluids are continuously administered via this catheter, allowing maintenance of blood pressure and support of all vital organs while your pet is under anesthesia.  We also use the safest forms of gas anesthesia available, and rest assured that while asleep, we are closely monitoring your pet with our progressive monitoring equipment, including a pulse oximeter, EKG, and blood pressure system.  Our nurses are trained to never take their eyes off of your pet, and will be present throughout the anesthetic procedure.

Finally, pain management is essential to a speedy recovery. We use only the safest and most advanced forms of pain relief post-operatively.
